Introduction

I have actually never seen Cabaret before, but i am so excited about this brief as I love to read and watch new novels and films.  I have also never read Goodbye to Berlin before but I have started to read it.  I like how it is a shorter novel, however I do feel I will have to read the book a few times to enjoy the discriptivness throughout the novel.

After doing some research I found out that in 1919 Germany lost the First World War a new democratic government was declared in Weimar. The Weimar Republic was a genuine attempt to create a perfect democracy.  There were two weaknesses in the democracy -proportional representation and Article 48.

I am looking forward to casting my own model although I think it will be tough to do because I need to make sure the model is free to do trials in class.

As I completed the summer homework, I have a better understanding of colour which I feel can reflect in this project.  I can explain and talk about colour in more depth now as I have learnt a lot from the guest lecture and the book "If it's Purple Someone's Gunna Die".
