A British guide to Showing off
In class we watched A British Guide to Showing off which is a documentary filmed in 2011 about a competition called 'Alternative Miss World'. The documentary followed the 12th build up of the beauty pageant. It starred people such as Ruby Wax and Zandra Rhodes, giving their opinion on what went on in the competition.

I think it's great that something like this has been invented, as there are so many quirky and unique people in the world that deserve to show their fabulousness off. It was also great for something cool to be created in the UK rather than everything stemming from America.
