Making historical contemporary

I printed off 3 of my historical images that Bryony created on me and I collaged over the top to created possible contemporary designs.

 The first one I created above - I wanted to use either some thick ribbon or a pipe cleaner to outline the back of the curls.

 The second design above - I wanted to get a pretty barrette or hair clip to make the hairstyle a little more pretty.

My third design above - This was my favourite design, and one that I was probably going to go with or something similar.  I love the feather element which represents angel and some ribbon going through the curls.
