Christopher and his Kind

I enjoyed watching Christopher and his Kind because, again, it was good to see different media of what like in Berlin was like during the 1920's/30's.  I definitely saw references to Caberet in it, in terms of fashion and sex.

Although it was filmed in 2011, they have done well to stick to the 1920's fashion and general house ornaments.   It was interesting to pick out which character could represent one in Cabaret, for example Christopher resembled Brian.  Here is a breakdown

Brian - He had sweepy mousy brown hair and tended to dress in beige suits.  He had a cheeky grin on his face throughout the film and was always up for a bit of fun.

 

Christopher - He has dark hair and also wears beige coloured suits.  There is a sex scene in Christopher and his Kind so this suggests that he is also gay.
